Reclaimed Trestle Table

It’s always nice when we can incorporate a family’s history into the pieces of furniture we build for them when we can. Our client had a very old barn torn down and wanted to build a rustic table that incorporated the barn wood. In cases like this, we want to preserve the nature of the wood as much as possible, so not making it perfect is actually the goal! The oak provided, had a beautiful patina along with knots and cross-grain scratches which gave the table a one of kind look.  Reclaimed wood projects are some of our favorite custom projects and they are great for the environment.
