Project Description

An eclectic wood and granite breakroom table began with a picture and the question, “can you make this?” We made it, using sturdy, custom-fabricated bases to suspend live-edge walnut slabs united with solid quartz.

When BJB wanted power and technology outlets in oval marble-topped meeting tables, JWDS did what the manufacturer wouldn’t. Though the heavy tops required two bases, the final cost was reduced by downsizing the table tops only slightly to produced two from a single slab of material.

Reclaimed wood and granite form a unique bar-height estimating center where BJB employees collaborate with customers. Granite cascades from the top down to the floor creating interest and stability for the piece.

With uneven coloring, unique grains and gnarly patterns, live-edge tables like this not only serve as functional pieces of furniture, they are beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that bring a touch of nature indoors.
